What is biodiesel?
Biodiesel is a cleaner-burning biodegradable renewable fuel for diesel engines, which can be blended with petroleum diesel. The use of Biodiesel in diesel engines will result in substantial benefits to the environment, the economy and businesses.

By involving Freedom Fuels you are assured of continuity and surety of supply of quality products along with a fully managed and integrated logistics management system. We are the only major supplier of fuel in eastern Australia that is offering a warranted, branded product, for biodiesel above B5. We were the first major retail outlet in Queensland to offer ethanol-blended fuel at all our retail sites; this offer now extends to a biodiesel B20 blend at retail level.

Glencore and Freedom Fuels
Glencore and Freedom Fuels is a Strategic Partnership enabling alternate choices of fuel supply. Glencore International AG is one of the world's largest suppliers of a wide range of commodities and raw materials to industrial consumers. Freedom Fuels and Glencore International (www.glencore.com) entered into a partnership to appoint Freedom Fuels as their Australian downstream service provider and as a long-term supplier of petroleum products. 

Freedom Fuels is an independently owned fuel supplier, whom in its own right has a large distribution and retail network.  This agreement together with Freedom Fuels’ own network and logistics expertise has provided us with the necessary foundations to push into new commercial and mining operations. Through this Strategic Alliance with Glencore, Freedom Fuels commenced delivery to Xstrata Coal in 2006.
