Approval of your submitted application is subject to Freedom Fuels credit approval process.
Your business may be eligible for further discounts, both in store and on the fuel pump price, through tiered Volume incentives.
Q: Can I buy things other than fuel on my card?
A: Any items available from our retail sites may be purchased using your card.
Q: Can we limit fuel types and retail products on our account?
A: Accounts are activated with all products available as default. You can however request restrictions on fuel grades and shop stock when signing up for an account.

A: Via your monthly statement.

A: Please allow 7 - 10 working days (providing the account application is completed in full).
Q: Can I use it on multiple vehicles?
A: No. Only one registration will be provided on each individual card.
Q: Is there an account / credit limit?
A: The limit will be your approved credit limit upon credit application being completed.
Q: How will I receive my statement?
A: By one of the following options; Email, fax or post.
Q: Is this only available to businesses with an ABN or can a private user apply?
A: You must have an ABN number to hold a Freedom Fuels Account card.
Q: Who can apply for a Freedom Fuels card?
A: Businesses with an ABN. Minimum monthly purchases of $1000 per account or currently hold a Freedom Fuels Account.
Q: Who do we contact to apply for a card?
A: Same process as opening any account with Freedom Fuels - Credit department is responsible for account opening and will assess all credit applications.
Q: Can I purchase / apply for a personal card for family and friends?
A: You may have multiple cards under your account. The signatory of the account application (Account holder) is responsible for the debt of all these cards
Q: Is there a fee for the cards?
A: There are no ongoing card keeping fees. New and replacement cards may attract a fee of $5 per card, which includes lost or stolen cards.
Q: Can other people sign for transactions?
A: Each card has a signature strip. The account holder remains responsible for the costs incurred on the card.
Q: Can I use it at any Freedom Fuels/Interstate?
A: Yes it can be used at all Freedom Fuels Company operated retail sites - refer to web site for list of sites.
Q: Is there an expiry to the card?
A: No. If your card stops working please contact our Customer Service team for assistance.
Q: Can I have multiple cards for one account?
A: Yes. You may have multiple cards against one account - the account holder is fully responsible for all spend on these cards.
Q: Does the card need to be present at the time of purchase?
Q: What will happen if I can't produce a card at point of sale?
A: There can be no purchase without the card. If this occurs in error the Customer Service Attendant will ask for another form of payment immediately.
Q: Is there a minimum spend?
A: The Freedom Fuels card is provided to service the needs of business account holders, who hold ABN numbers. Unlike other fuel card propositions, Freedom Fuels does not charge monthly admin fees. To ensure the cost effectiveness of this service, a minimum average monthly spend for petrol and convenience purchases of $1,000 will be required.
Q: What security measure will you take to ensure that the correct person is using the card? i.e. signature, PIN, rego on the card?
A: The responsibility for all purchases made on your account remains the responsibility of the Account Holder. We have provided for registration, signature strip along with PIN number option for each card

A: Your business may be eligible for fuel and store discounts based on a volume purchasing matrix.

Q: Can I open a pay in advance account?
A: Yes we can accept your payment in advance. Please contact credit department. If there is any balance due on the 14th of each month it will still be direct debited.
Q: Can I pay by credit card?
A: Yes by calling our credit department by the 10th of the month to process over the phone.
Q: Can I make payments on my card at a Freedom Fuels site?
A: To ensure accurate account management, payments of your account is not accepted at retail sites. Payments are made via direct debit other payment options are noted on the monthly statement.
Q: How do I activate my card?
A: Phone our Customer Service Centre on 1300 667 202 and they will activate the cards for you.
Q: What do I do if I lose my card?
A: Phone 1300 667 202 (Customer Service Centre) or email email@example.com and they will make arrangements for replacement. The card will be cancelled as soon as we are notified. You remain responsible for any purchases until we are notified. You will be asked to verify the details in writing.
Q: Do I have to pay if I lose or damage my card?
A: You are responsible for all purchases on your card until you notify Freedom Fuels of the card loss in writing.
Q: Are there any dishonour fees?
A: Yes. $50 per dishonour (refer terms and conditions).
Q: At which point does the card become suspended?
A: Dishonour of Direct Debit of your account and / or non- compliant of our Terms and Conditions and / or not reaching minimum spend.
Q: I have a Motorcharge card / Motorpass Cards, Fleetcard. Can I change to Freedom Fuels Account Card?
A: Yes. You will need to complete a new account application and be accepted. Please note that there is a different service offering from these cards to Freedom Fuels. The customer needs to investigate the service offering and make their own comparison against Freedom's offering.
