Renewable Blended Fuels for a Better Future.

Freedom Fuels takes pride in its position as an innovative market leader in the renewable fuels industry. In 2005 Freedom Fuels first introduced our customers to renewable fuels.

Our commitment to the environment continues, from January 2009 all fuels sold at our Queensland and NSW based retail sites will be renewable blends of E10 (10% ethanol and 90% petroleum blend) and B20 (20% biodiesel and 80% premium diesel blend).

Plans are also in place to ensure our Victorian retail sites offer a full range of renewable blends in 2010. Please see our Freedom Fuels store locator for locations.

Freedom Fuels is committed to lowering its customers contributions to Greenhouse Emissions. For every litre of B20 Diesel or E10 Fuel we sell, less CO2 is emitted. Freedom Fuels customers emit in excess of 5000 less tonnes of CO2 per month on average by simply purchasing Freedoms Lower Carbon Fuels.

[Green Handle] E10 Unleaded 95 is a 95 Octane rated fuel that contains up to 10% Ethanol. Standard Unleaded fuel has an Octane rating of 91 and is generally more expensive at the bowser making our product great value for money in comparison.

[Yellow Handle] E10 Premium Unleaded is our mid range premium blend also containing up to 10% Ethanol. This product exceeds the Fuel Quality standard for PULP fuel and offers a higher Octane rating than regular 100% fossil fuel PULP.

[Blue Handle] Hi Octane 98 is Freedom’s highest performance fuel and offers superior quality with exceptional value. The blend of PULP and Ethanol provides an Octane rating of 98 ensuring a cleaner running, higher performing engine.

[Black Handle]  B20 Diesel is a lower emission diesel combining the benefits of 20% biodiesel to help lower greenhouse gas emissions; and 80% ULSD, a cleaner form of Diesel which is better for air quality. B20 Diesel has a higher cetane number than normal Diesel which means it has better combustion qualities. B20 Diesel typically produces improved lubricity, reducing engine wear and tear.
